April 2010 - Announcing Google Analytics Integration

REF:CODE now incorporates Google Analytics data to capture more complete insight into website effectiveness and visitor behaviour that connects website browsing and inbound calls.

The new analytics integration lets you track goals and compare the website visitor experience of online leads to direct calls, as well as extract analytics reports for specific dates and traffic sources.

For example, if a website receives traffic from a Google adWords campaign it is possible that some visitors will call directly instead of filling out contact form on the landing page or website. REF:CODE Analytics Traffic Sources Report will show Google CPC as the source and how many submissions of this form happened online from this source. In the same report we can now see how many visitors that came from this source who decided to contact the company by telephone.

To benefit from the duo analytics system, REF:CODE users need to set up a Google Analytics account. For every URL set up for tracking, a profile ID will be provided. You will also receive a username and password. Next login in to the Client Login on the REF:CODE site and go to Edit Google Analytics Login. Here the Google Analytics username and password need to be entered and saved. The final step is to go to Add Google Analytics Profiles and enter all the profile IDs for which Google Analytics is to be tracked along with REF:CODE.

The integrated analytics report will begin to generate and will be available for viewing under Analytics Reports.
